Registration for the game and lunch are open until September 7^th.
Shirts can not be ordered after August 24^th.
If you don't have a shirt, please wear a black shirt to the game.

The date for Alumni Band Day is September 10^th. Appalachian State will face North Carolina A&T University. This year the ASU Marching Band is celebrating it's 77^th Anniversary. Details about the weekend's events and schedules are located below and we hope that many alumni will be able to join us on this day to once again feel the rush of performing for over 20,000 fans at "The Rock". Below is most all of the pertinent information you will need for the weekend. You do not have perform to be a part of Alumni Band Day ! We understand that some people haven't or can't play their instruments anymore. Don't let this discourage you from participation. Come and enjoy the weekend with friends and band family !!!

Registration

Registration for the 2011 Alumni Band will be handled through PDF form. To register, click the Registration link on the front page for the registration page. Once you fill out the registration, print and mail or scan and email to Buddha@Alumni.Appstate.Edu. If you have difficulty or problems, contact Glenn Patterson at (336) 226-6999. A hard copy will be mailed or faxed to you. Deadline for registration is Tuesday, September 7^th.

Performance Attire

Members of the 2011 Alumni Band performing with the Marching Mountaineers at halftime will be wearing the official Alumni Band shirt and khaki pants. This is done in order to give the Alumni Band a "uniform" appearance on the field.

The shirt for 2011 will be the same as the one used in the past two years. Plans are to use the same shirt each year so Alumni Band members will only have to make a single purchase. These shirts may be ordered online on the registration page.

Tickets

All Alumni attending Alumni Band Weekend will be required to purchase a ticket for admission to the game. This includes those Alumni performing at halftime.

Tickets are for general admission seating and can be ordered on the registration form Due to high demand, a limit of four tickets per family exists. Tickets are for immediate family only (spouse, children, significant other).

Music

Music will be provided during registration. Additional details will be posted and/or emailed.

Saturday Lunch

Due to the increase in parking problems on campus, we began offering a tailgating lunch opportunity last year. This year, Bandana's will again cater our tailgating lunch. This will be held either in Rm. 119 or on the lawn between Broyhill and Walker Hall.

Band Rings

Appalachian State University's official ring of the Marching Mountaineers is a unique symbol which represents the bond and kinship of those who have been proudly associated with the band - now as well as the members of the Band Alumni Association.

Those Mountaineers who have participated for two years in the band have earned the privilege to wear this unique symbol of recognition which reflects your affiliation with the distinguished ASU Marching Mountaineers.

Parking

Parking has become an increasing problem on game days. The only parking is along River Street. No parking lots are available for game day. Details of parking is located here. If this changes before game day, the link will be updated and emails will be sent.
